Esme had so much fun with my costume’s hanger that I was sure she wanted to dress up for Halloween as well.
What, oh what, could I possibly dress Esme up in? Then it hit me.
No, the hanger hit me. Stupid cat rolling all over the floor.
As I watched Esme gnaw and claw at the hanger, I decided the best costume for Esme would be something simple, fairly indestructible, and something that would go around her neck where she couldn’t eat it.
I opted for a glow stick collar. Green to match her eyes.
Initially, she didn’t like the collar idea, so I decided to make it a game. A ring toss onto a cat’s head.
It didn’t work very well.
But after a couple of tries, I finally got it. Behold, Halloween Esme.
Gorgeous, isn’t she? If not for the glow collar, she’d be invisible.

Ok, that was funny…love the hanger pics lol A word of warning about the glow sticks: my youngest daughter left one on a coffee table & one of the dogs bit it. We didn’t realize this until the next morning and whatever the magical glowy stuff is permanently stained the table

Can you imagine waking up at night and seeing “just that glowing collar” running around your room or sitting on your bed at NIGHT! Yikes! That would scare the heck out of me, until you realize that it is the cat. LOL Great idea, I should try that on Nikita!
