You’ll see pregnant women everywhere two times during your life.
1. When you’re pregnant…but don’t know it yet.
If suddenly every woman you pass on the street is about to burst forth a baby, go buy a pregnancy test because you’re probably pregnant.
I think it has something to do with the increased sense of smell. You can smell out your own kind.
2. After you have a miscarriage.
After a miscarriage, pregnant women will also run rampid. And not just pregnant women, but babies.
It’s the babies that get to me. To date, I’ve broken out into tears upon seeing babies in the grocery store, on the street, and at a restaurant in the middle of dinner.
Here are my solutions to stopping crying. Not just miscarriage crying, but crying in general.
- Hugs from Kiefer. But not my Kiefer. Get your own Kiefer.
- Kisses from puppies. Like Ozzy. I’m willing to lend out Ozzy…for a small fee.
- Pop-Tarts. That’s why they come in a two-pack. One for you, one for me.
- Ice Cream. It’ll make you feel better if you share ice cream with
a friendme.

You can have BOTH of my pop-tarts. And I’ll even share my ice cream. That’s the kind of friend I am!
HUGS.

It’s true. It really is. I think the worse, after my first tubal pregnancy, was the pregnant women that complained about being pregnant. Made me want to scream.

God bless you. Is there some means to push a pop-tart through this comment box?

That must be so hard to see.
Virtual hugs and pop-tarts covered in ice cream.

Big virtual hugs to you.

FTD should have a special Pop Tart division, for cases like this.

Very true. I find watching people struggle with the behavior of their older kids helps. What?

I see pregnant women/babies everywhere too, but from a different perspective…a 37yo-single-wants-to-be-a-mom POV.
Sending you lots of hugs and much love. xoxo
P.S., if I get my hands on some candy corn Oreos, I’ll send them your way. There has to be a bag somewhere in my office, as Kraft is one of our clients…I’ll have to do some recon on their floor.

I am gonna to petition the Pop tart company to put them in packs of four.
Anything for you Thoughtsy!
And hey… it will happen. Soon. Soon.

In my case, I know I am not pregnant and have not had a miscarriage. It is weird because I know why we are waiting, but you see those mothers and their babies – and you want that.
It’s like some sort of conspiracy, luring you in with their cute baby dimples and intoxicating baby smell. It seems like most of my married friends are pregnant or have a baby. Now, I know why.
I wrote about this in my blog not.too long ago! http://sarahsbrandnewchapter.wordpress.com/2012/08/07/the-baby-bug/
P.s.I love your blog. I’m a new follower, and I’m just enjoying all your posts!

I notice this with anything I miss or wish I still had. I see similar items or people everywhere! All it takes is time..fack that takes too long.

Babies make me cry too. But not because I want one. Relax, Thoughtsy! It’ll happen.

It’s the baby LONGING that does it. And I know that because I totally slammed the door of our truck into the door of the car beside us the other day (by accident) and when the woman got out of the car holding a BABY it was all I could think about. My brain just quit working. I just wanted to hooooold the baby! I’ve taken to placating all of my baby longing with chocolate cupcakes. And then I feel guilty and do an hour of cardio. Viscious cycle.
Thoughts are with you!

Aw, Sorry for your pain, Thoughtsy.

I will give you all my hugs, pop tarts and ice cream to see you smile a bit more!

Thoughtsy sending you well wishes and virtual hugs and icecream and pop tarts!

Virtual pop tarts to you. After my miscarriage I mentally kicked every husband/partner of the pregnant person because you can’t kick a pregnant person (even mentally).
I’ll share my puppy to hug with you as well. We can eat pop tarts dipped in ice cream while cuddling puppies….
Take care of you!

Aw, lots of pop tarts to you!
I am not pregnant, but I’m certainly at that hormonal, clock ticking away age where I see pregnant women and babies everywhere.

Reblogged this on 8x45Sessions and commented:
I’ve heard the same thing from my other friends who have had babies/miscarriage.
