Yesterday morning as I munched on my Pop-Tart, a brilliant idea struck me.
National Pop-Tart Day
We have a day to celebrate everything else. Why not delicious Pop-Tarts?
Before contacting Kellogg’s directly, I did some research. It turns out someone beat me to the punch. And it was California Tortilla.
Because nothing says Pop-Tart like Mexican food. What the….
I hope they bring back the CT-PT team up before 2012 is over.
I may have emailed them to ask. May.
UPDATE: You know by “may” I really meant “definitely.” And they said Pop-Tart day would be in October. Sooooo…it’s mid-October…and I’ve seen nothing about Pop-Tarts at California Tortilla. Tease….
Favorite Comment From Last Post: “I once took a dump in the kitchen garbage can because I was on the phone and couldn’t get a word in edge-wise. In those days, the phone was still sometimes stuck to the wall. And when you’re stuck, you’re stuck, right? I never thought I’d be admitting it to the world 15 years later though, but to be honest…it wasn’t the worst thing I’ve ever done.”—hiddinsight

Well, if they are gonna drop the ball, I say it’s on YOU, the unofficial Pop-Tart spokesperson and it’s biggest fan, to run with this obviously brilliant idea!! Let’s get this cause to the people, woman. Pick a day and we’ll support your efforts. Power to the Pop-Tart!!

I think it’s only fair to tell you I’m picturing both you and Lincoln with sombreros and big, curly mustaches. Nice flip of the serape, btw.

I agree with Misty…let’s get this poptart running…it’s been years since I’ve eaten one and I would definitely buy a box for the cause…

I’m with you. I just had a strawberry frosted pop tart for lunch.

You should take the day over. They aren’t committed to the Pop Tart. Their Pop Tart day is all about California Tortilla.
Genuine respect for the tart trumps promotional use every time. At least that’s what my grandmother told me. Of course she was speaking Italian, so she might have meant something else.

Whaaa? How could they drop the ball on something like this! It’s an outrage!
I say you send them a cease and desist on the grounds that they’re being big losers about the whole thing and that PopTart Day should NOT be taken lightly.
Now I want a Pop Tart.

Make your own pop tart day for the blog world! Are toaster pastries invited..or would that be blasphemous?

I would totally be behind a National Pop-Tart day. There is nothing better than a strawberry Pop-Tart (no icing) to take me back to my childhood days.

I really hate pop tarts… I always think they are going to better than they are… and then after I eat one and end up having to drink a gallon of water to get the dry taste out of my mouth… i get pissed off at myself that I forgot.

You need to get in touch with Kelloggs. Ask them, tell them, insist that they need to have a National Pop Tart Day! You’re right, everyday is “SOMETHING DAY”! Pop Tart Festivals! Pop Tart Parades! Pop Tart Eating Contests!

Well, there may already be a Pop Tart Day, but is there a Pop Tart PARADE??? I don’t think so! That should be your mission
